Manning Whiley
Manning Whiley was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In 1938, he made an early appearance in Roy Boulting's "Consider Your Verdict." In 1943, he played Church in the comedy "Bell Bottom George," which starred George Formby. Whiley began his career with a role in "Contraband" (1940). Whiley made film his next project, appearing in "Old Bill and Son" (1940). Later in his career, Whiley acted in the James Mason drama "The Seventh Veil" (1945). Whiley was married to Wanda Rotha. Whiley passed away in January 1975 at the age of 60.
