Maggie Roswell
Maggie Roswell's resume as an actress is an impressive one, but one job stands head and shoulders above the rest--her work with everyone's favorite long-running animated family, "The Simpsons." She has worked on the show since the first season in 1989, voicing a number of characters such as Maude Flanders, Helen Lovejoy, and many others. Rowell's initial run on the show ended in 1999 because of a contentious pay dispute. The character of Maude Flanders was subsequently killed off. Roswell returned to the program in 2002 voicing various characters, and also worked on the feature-film version of the show. Roswell's (usually) sweet and funny voice can also be heard in the Ralph Bakshi animated films "Fire and Ice" and "Cool World," and on the kid-friendly television programs "Animaniacs" "Darkwing Duck," "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," "Tiny Toon Adventures," and "Animaniacs." Roswell is not just a voice actress, though. She has also guest starred on numerous television shows since the early 1970s, such sa "M.A.S.H.," "Mork & Mindy," "Happy Days," "Dynasty," and many others.
