Maeve Quinlan

A one-time aspiring tennis player, Maeve Quinlan went to university on an athletic scholarship, where she studied acting and theater. She subsequently appeared in commercials, which led to getting cast in the soap "The Bold and the Beautiful" in 1995 as Megan Conley, the loyal secretary for the fictional Forrester Creations. While she left the show's regular cast in late 2005, she reappeared in '06 for several episodes as a guest star. During her time on "The Bold and the Beautiful," Quinlan also appeared in the film "Ken Park," a commercial disappointment. However, the project gave her a chance to work with controversial and critically-acclaimed filmmakers Larry Clark and Harmony Korine. During the latter half of the '00s, Quinlan's best-known roles have been on the television series "South of Nowhere" and "90210." In the former, a teen drama centered on the Carlins, a Midwestern family that relocates to much more liberal California, she played Paula, a brilliant surgeon trying to balance career and parenthood. After "South of Nowhere" ended in 2008, she joined the cast of the teen soap "90210" as Constance Tate-Duncan, a domineering former actress who drives her daughter to drug use. While appearing on "90210," Quinlan also appeared in the dramatic feature "Not Easily Broken," and branched out into producing and writing with "3Way," a web-based comedy series.
