After a parasitic worm infects Pete and Chloe, they become thrill-seeking daredevils, and Pete uses red meteor rocks to persuade Clark to join them on a dangerous adventure. Not only does Clark display his powers, he also kisses Chloe -- as witnessed by a stunned Lana.
Lana enrolls at Metropolis University at the last minute and is forced to join a sorority in order to get housing at such a late date. However, her new sorority sisters offer her more than a place to live after they turn her into a vampire and instruct her to kill Clark. Meanwhile, Chloe applies for an internship at The Daily Planet, but the newspaper's formidable editor, Pauline Kahn (Carrie Fisher - "Star Wars"), may be more then she can handle.
After Daniel (Meegwun Fairbrother) leaves Balleseros (Mark Ghanimé) to die, the mystery surrounding his connection to Hatake (Hiroyuki Sanada) is revealed. As he works to save Peter (Neil Napier), Alan (Billy Campbell) struggles with his feelings for both Walker (Kyra Zagorsky) and Jordan (Jordan Hayes).
As Ilaria CEO Constance Sutton arrives to collect the virus and its cure, Alan finds Walker (Kyra Zagorsky) seemingly symptom-free. Daniel (Meegwun Fairbrother) learns the truth about his “adoption” by Hatake (Hiroyuki Sanada).
Alan (Billy Campbell) risks his life to save his brother Peter from Ilaria CEO Constance Sutton (Jeri Ryan), only to see him re-captured by Vectors. Julia Walker (Kyra Zagorsky) deals with the mystery of her “cure” while her half-brother Daniel confronts their father, Dr. Hatake (Hiroyuki Sanada), about being abducted as a child.
