Luca Argentero

Handsome Luca Argentero is an Italian actor and television personality who also made a living as a model. Argentero hasn't spent his entire life in front of a camera, however; he graduated from the College of Saint Joseph in 2004 with degrees in Economics and Commerce. Encouraged by his cousin, actress Allesia Ventura, he experienced his first taste of fame when he joined the cast of Italy's take on the reality show "Big Brother" in 2000, a role that turned heads in the TV industry and led to his hosting gig on the film news program "Sky Cine News." After modeling for the hip magazine "Max," Argentero made the leap to serialized television and major motion pictures in 2005 as Marco Tosi in the drama series "Carabinieri" and Gerry in Francesca Comencini's film "A casa nostra." Film and television studios were eager to cast the dashing and talented actor, and he starred in several high-profile projects throughout the late 2000s including dramas "Solo un padre" and "Diverso da chi?," the latter earning him a David di Donatello Award nomination for Best Actor. Audiences around the world noticed Argentero as Giovanni, the suave and carefree Italian in "Glee"-creator Ryan Murphy's "Eat Pray Love" starring Julia Roberts. 2011 brought two unique experiences for Argentero: in addition to starring alongside his wife Myriam Catania in "C ́é chi dice no," he appeared on stage for the first time in Nicola Scorza's production of "Shakespeare in Love."
