Lorin Maazel
Lorin Maazel worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Maazel worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Bizet's Carmen" (1984), "Don Giovanni" (1979) and "From Vienna: The New Year's Celebration 1986" (PBS, 1985-86). He also contributed to "Otello" (1986), "Pavarotti in the Verdi Requiem: A Salute To Youth" (PBS, 1985-86) and "The Music of Ernest Bloch" (PBS, 1975-76). He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "The Night of Music: A Global Celebration" (1986-87), "Maazel! A Profile of the Maestro" (PBS, 1992-93) and "From Vienna: The New Year's Celebration 1994" (PBS, 1993-94). He also appeared in "From Vienna: The New Year's Celebration (1996)" (PBS, 1995-96) and "From Vienna: The New Year's Celebration 1999" (PBS, 1998-99). Maazel had a number of different projects under his belt in the nineties and the early 2000s, including "Carnegie Hall Opening Night 1999" (PBS, 1999-2000), "Detroit Rock City" (1999) starring Giuseppe Andrews and "Requiem" (PBS, 1999-2000). His credits also expanded to "The Kid Stays in the Picture" (2002) starring Robert Evans, "Live from Lincoln Center: Shaham's Sibelius" (PBS, 2004-05) and "August Rush" with Freddie Highmore (2007). Maazel most recently worked on "Live From Lincoln Center: Camelot" (PBS, 2007-08).
