Lisa Brenner
New York-born actress Lisa Brenner graduated from Barnard College with a degree in both English and drama. After appearing as Allison Sloan on the daytime ABC series "All My Children" in 1994, Brenner took roles in numerous television movies and series, including "Another World," "The Magnificent Seven," and "Turks." In 1999, she appeared as Jenny in the first season of MTV's cult hit "Undressed," a controversial series following the sexual and romantic lives of young people in Los Angeles. Brenner's big-screen debut came the following year when she won a role in Roland Emmerich's historical action-drama "The Patriot," a film about the adversities of farmer Benjamin Martin and his family during the American Revolutionary War. Brenner plays Anne Howard, the childhood friend and romantic interest of the farmer's son Gabriel, played by Heath Ledger. She also appeared in the first two installments of "The Librarian" franchise--a series of made-for-TV movies from TNT--playing the role of Debra Markham Porter in 2004's "The Librarian: Quest for the Spear" and 2006's "The Librarian: Return to King Solomon's Mines." Brenner has often worked as a character actor on TV dramas for CBS, including "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "CSI: Miami," "The Mentalist," and "CSI: NY."
