Lily Loveless

Although most famous for her role as a politically outspoken teenager on the controversial British TV series "Skins," actress Lily Loveless is also an accomplished dancer. While attending high school in East London she developed an interest in acting and juggled going out on auditions with studying for final exams. Her first professional acting job came in 2009 when she joined the cast of "Skins" as Naomi Campbell, a sexually confused high school student with an idealistic streak. Her fearless, relatable performance quickly made the passionate Naomi one of the controversial series most beloved--and central--characters. Much of the third and fourth seasons of "Skins" focused on Naomi's struggle to accept and act on her romantic feelings towards Emily (Kathryn Prescott), a fellow classmate who is openly gay. After leaving the award-winning series in 2010, Loveless starred as a lovestruck army brat in the short-lived series "Combat Kids" and was cast in the big-screen adaptation of Mark Billingham's debut crime novel "Sleepyhead." In 2011 Loveless, who spent several years performing with an urban dance company in London, landed a major role on the sci-fi series "The Fades" as Anna, a popular, witty high school student whose geeky twin brother possesses supernatural powers.
