Lilan Bowden

Lilan Bowden is an American comedic actress who was best known for her role as Bex Mack on the Disney Channel series "Andi Mack" (Disney Channel, 2017-). Born and raised in the Bay Area, Bowden always had a desire to become a performer. Upon entering high school, Bowden joined her school's improv comedy club, where she met similarly funny people, while also learning how to make people laugh on command. Bowden stayed as a committed member of the club well into her senior year, and upon graduation, decided to pursue her acting dream in earnest by moving south to Hollywood. Upon her arrival in Los Angeles, Bowden joined the famed UCB comedy training school, where she immediately began taking classes. Over the course of the next several years Bowden made a name for himself by performing several popular improv comedy shows a week at UCB, in addition to starring in funny videos for the popular comedy site FunnyorDie.com. By the early 2010s Bowden was beginning to appear in TV shows like "Hart of Dixie" (The CW, 2011-15), "Suburgatory" (ABC, 2011-14), and "Parks and Recreation" (NBC, 2009-15). Bowden continued nabbing film and TV roles for the next few years, thus building a noteworthy comedy acting profile that put her in the sights of various casting agents and producers. Then in 2017 Bowden landed her big break when she joined the cast of the Disney Channel series "Andi Mack." Bowden played Bex Mack on the series, which premiered on the channel in 2017.
