Leon Addison Brown

Actor Leon Addison Brown was most commonly known for his roles in television dramas. In 1989, he appeared in the action drama film "True Blood." Brown's early roles were in comedies like "Mo' Better Blues" (1990) with Denzel Washington and Spike Lee and "The Associate" (1996) with Whoopi Goldberg and Dianne Wiest. He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "Law & Order" (NBC, 1990-2010) and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-). He also landed a role in the miniseries "Hamlet" (2001). Brown focused on television in more recent years, appearing on "The Jury" (Fox, 2004) and "The Good Wife" (CBS, 2009-2016). More recently, he earned a role in the drama "Whirly Girl" (2006) with Monet Mazur. In his more recent career, he tackled roles on "Person of Interest" (2011-16), "Madam Secretary" (CBS, 2014-) and "The Knick" (Cinemax, 2014-15). He also appeared in the Liam Neeson action film "A Walk Among the Tombstones" (2014). Brown most recently acted on "The Breaks" (2017-).
