Lee Morgan
Lee Morgan was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Morgan landed roles in various films, including "Circumstantial Evidence" (1935), the western "Black Hills" (1947) with Eddie Dean and the western "The Fighting Vigilantes" (1947) with Lash La Rue. He also appeared in the Jim Bannon action flick "Dangers of the Canadian Mounted" (1948). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the forties and the fifties, appearing in "Rio Grande" (1949), the Jim Bannon western "Roll, Thunder, Roll" (1949) and "Daniel Boone, Trail Blazer" (1956). He also appeared in the Tyrone Power dramatic adaptation "The Sun Also Rises" (1957). Toward the end of his career, he tackled roles in the western "Sierra Baron" (1958) with Brian Keith and the action film "Villa!" (1958) with Brian Keith. Morgan's music was most recently used in "Joy" (2015) with Jennifer Lawrence. Morgan also contributed music to "Unaccompanied Minors" (2006). Morgan passed away in January 1967 at the age of 65.
