Larry Manetti
Larry Manetti is an American actor best known for his role as Orville "Rick" Wright on the long-running action series "Magnum, P.I." starring Tom Selleck. He got his start in 1974 on the Stephen J. Cannell crime drama "Chase" in a guest role. After several other TV guest appearances, he was given a recurring role on the drama "Baa Baa Black Sheep" (later renamed "Black Sheep Squadron"), a show about fighter pilots in World War II. It lasted two seasons, and after its cancellation, Manetti found work on the sci-fi show "Battlestar Galactica" in a recurring role and made guest appearances on the action drama "Emergency!" and the mystery show "The Rockford Files." He was also cast in the offbeat detective drama "Tenspeed and Brown Shoe" and the crime show "The Duke," two short-lived series. He appeared in all but one of the 156 "Magnum, P.I." episodes during its eight-season run. After it ended he returned to making guest appearances on shows such as the military drama "JAG" and the action show "Renegade." He also appeared in the heist film "Fatal Pursuit" and the low-budget thriller "Random Acts" in 2001.
