The decomposed skeleton of what appears to be a young girl is found in a grocery cart in the D.C. area. Angela's reconstruction based on the evidence reveals the face of an 80-year-old woman, not a child, but the team learns the victim actually was a 22-year-old woman with a debilitating aging disease. Brennan and Booth's investigation leads them to the victim's mother, who points a finger at a former caretaker. But without a definitive lead, the team searches to find out who would want to take this defenseless woman's life, and the case strikes an especially emotional chord with Brennan. Meanwhile, Brennan's father, Max Keenan (guest star Ryan O'Neal), reappears in Brennan's life in an attempt to make a connection with her and deliver information from her past, and she's surprised by her reaction. Hodgins and Angela walk down the aisle with Brennan and Booth as maid of honor and best man, respectively, but all does not go as planned.

Adam (Oliver Hudson) is surprised when Jennifer (Bianca Kalish) confronts him about not yet setting a date all the while knowing he has a surprise of his own all planned. Meanwhile, after hearing about Jennifer's dilemma, Audrey (Megyn Price) surprises Jeff by making quilt out of his old t-shirts but regrets her gift when he doesn't stop telling the stories that are behind the shirts. Russell (David Spade) can't figure out his new date (guest star Maggie Lawson) when all of her conversations make sexual references and she won't sleep with him. Ted Wass directed the episode written by Barry Wernick.

Late at night in San Francisco, a burglar carefully wipes his feet before breaking into a house. The man of the house, a sports agent named Rob Sherman, greets the burglar. The burglar is there as part of an insurance scam the two men concocted together. The burglar would "steal" some expensive sports memorabilia from the house, and the two men would split the insurance money later. But Sherman has a bigger plan, and surprises the burglar by pulling out two guns. Sherman shoots the burglar with one gun, and when Sherman's wife comes downstairs, he shoots her with the other gun! Sherman then calmly arranges the scene before calling 911.

The CSIs investigate when the parents of a baby sitter in an upscale neighborhood are murdered. As the team sorts through the neighbors' secrets and lies, they find an unexpected love triangle as a motive for murder. Meanwhile, a key piece of evidence found at the crime scene leads Horatio to expose a doctor with some dirty secrets of his own. (TV_PG)
