Kyôko Kishida

Kyoko Kishida was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Kishida began her acting career appearing in various films, such as the Keiko Kishi foreign "Ototo" (1960), "Haru No Kane" (1986) and "Rokumeikan" (1986). She also appeared in the Eiji Okuda drama "Uni to Dokuyaku" (1987). She kept working in film throughout the eighties and the nineties, starring in "Eiga Joyu" (1988), the Rentaro Mikuni dramatic period piece "Rikyu" (1991) and the historical feature "Ten To Chi To" (1991) with Takaai Enoki. She also appeared in the Takeshi Kusaka thriller "Tenkawa Densetsu Satsujin Jiken" (1991). Toward the end of her career, she continued to act in "Fusa" (1993) with Keiichi Nakai, "Aisuru" (1997) and "Woman in the Dunes" (1997). She also appeared in the crime drama "Dora-Heita" (2000) with Kôji Yakusho. Kishida was most recently credited in "Wool 100%" (2007). Kishida passed away in December 2006 at the age of 76.
