Kristin Lehman

Born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Kristin Lehman grew up in Vancouver, where she studied ballet at Canada's Royal Academy of Dance for eight years. Gracefully seguing into acting, she made a name for herself on such Canadian programs as "Forever Knight" (CBS, 1992-96), "Due South" (CTV/CBS, 1994-99) and "Kung Fu: The Legend Continues" (syndicated, 1993-97) before moving to Los Angeles. Frequently cast in sci-fi/fantasy projects such as "Earth: Final Conflict" (syndicated, 1997-2002), "The X-Files" (Fox, 1993-2002) and "Poltergeist: The Legacy" (Showtime, 1996-99), Lehman earned a nomination for a Gemini Award for her guest spot on "Andromeda" (Global, 2000-05). American audiences truly began to take note of her with a recurring role on "Felicity" (The WB, 1998-2002) and especially her turn as Dr. Lily Reddicker on "Judging Amy" (CBS, 1999-2005). On the big screen, she appeared in the Benicio Del Toro thriller "The Way of the Gun" (2000) and in the Vin Diesel action flick "The Chronicles of Riddick" (2004), but found longer-running success on television. She booked regular roles on the professional gambling series "Tilt" (ESPN, 2005) and on the Canadian answer to "Sex and the City" (HBO, 1998-2004), "G-Spot" (The Movie Network, 2005-09). Although she earned excellent reviews as a tough detective on the procedural "Killer Instinct" (Fox, 2005), the series proved short-lived. Lehman returned to the big screen in the Michael Douglas thriller "The Sentinel" (2006) and notched several appearances on "Prison Break" (Fox, 2005-09). The actress also earned the lead female role opposite Nathan Fillion in the illegal road race drama "Drive" (Fox, 2007), which debuted to enormous buzz but quickly spun out. Lehman's luck improved when she booked the juicy supporting role of Gwen Eaton, the campaign advisor for an aspiring politico (Billy Campbell) on the American adaptation of the Danish murder mystery "The Killing" (AMC 2011-13; Netflix, 2014). The dark, atmospheric series was an immediate sensation, and Lehman's performance as an intelligent and ambitious senator's daughter struggling with the intersection of her personal and professional lives won high praise from critics.
