While Gordon Bruce and Lucius remain at Indian Hill the city of Gotham will be met with a new threat as Hugo Strange's inmates devise a plan to escape and start their new lives in the season two finale.

Hugo Strange welcomes back a familiar face to Gotham, after he resurrects Fish Mooney (former series star Jada Pinkett Smith) at Indian Hill. Bruce discovers a friend is in danger and teams up with Gordon, Alfred and Lucius, while uncovering more of Strange’s experiments.

Tony Rosatti (Lou Bonacki), a well-to-do contractor with mob connections, is found dead in his brownstone. Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) and Green (Jesse L. Martin) immediately suspect the work of a professional and try to find the deceased's much younger second wife. Tony's wife, Sherri (Gretchen Egolf), was gone all weekend. She was supposed to be at a spa in Connecticut but she never checked in. She tells the cops she changed her mind, and at the last minute went to Bermuda. The detectives do some digging and figure out she wasn't alone; she was with Randy Porter (Bobby Cannavale), an electrician who worked for her husband. An off-duty cop, who was hired by Tony, also provides photos of the two in compromising positions.

As Bull prepares for fatherhood, his work at TAC suffers without his top attorney, Benny, who quit in reaction to Bull's romantic reconnection to his ex-wife and Benny's sister, Isabella (Yara Martinez). In addition, the team faces a difficult time in court as they mount a defense for a young bartender on trial for involuntary manslaughter.

The death of a fellow detective causes Logan (Chris Noth) to think he may have repressed memories when he makes painful discoveries about the school he attended. With Jerry Orbach.
