Kira Pozehl
A striking blonde with a memorable smile, Kira Pozehl began training in dance and piano at an early age. The Nebraska native seemed to have performing in her blood, and her training at the University of Texas would bear this out, with the young actor appearing in a mainstage production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream." Pozehl would also grace the stage playing the role of Leslie in the State Theater Company's production of "Be Aggressive." In 2003, Pozehl appeared in the competitive reality series "All American Girl" (ABC, 2003), which found her competing against 44 other contestants. Her musical skills proved to be impressive on the talent-based series, and she eventually became one of the show's top five finalists. She would soon afterward make her film debut in the Austin-based independent drama "Falling to Grace" (2005). The next few years found Pozehl working as a nanny and in fashion event planning as she landed roles in short films such as "Cowboy: A Love Story" (2008) as well as commercials. She also appeared in the independent thriller "American Girls" (2013). Her biggest break came for Pozehl in 2015, when she was cast in John Ridley's critically-acclaimed series "American Crime" (ABC, 2015-).
