Kim Zolciak-Biermann
Kim Zolciak's name was synonymous with the reality television scene. After breaking out with a featured role on the program "Real Housewives of Atlanta" (Bravo 2008-), Zolciak went on to release her own single, headline her own reality show, and compete on "Dancing with the Stars" (ABC 2005). Throughout her reign over the genre, Zolciak remained a character beloved by reality fans. Kim Zolciak was born in Pensacola, Florida, and was raised in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. Her name first hit the public eye at age 17, when Zolciak had an affair with a police sergeant investigating a case in which she was a material witness. Years later, she joined the cast of the "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" (Bravo 2008-), sticking with the series through the first five seasons. At the same time, Zolciak released her debut single, "Tardy for the Party" (2009). After marrying professional football player Kroy Biermann in 2011, Zolciak used her "Real Housewives" fame to launch her own starring vehicle. The couple headlined the reality show "Don't Be Tardy " (Bravo 2012), alongside their children, including Zolciak's teenage daughter Brielle from her first marriage. Zolciak joined the popular dance contest series "Dancing with the Stars" (ABC 2005). She appeared on three episodes of the 21st season before withdrawing from the competition; shortly afterward, Zolciak suffered a transient ischemic attack, commonly called a mini-stroke. After returning to health, Zolciak announced a motivational speaking tour.
