Killian Scott

Killian Scott was an Irish actor who broke out in the U.S. in 2017 when he joined the cast of the series "Damnation" (USA, 2017-). Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, Scott grew up thinking that a professional acting career was nearly impossible. So for a brief period in his late teens and early 20s, he attended University College Dublin in his hometown, where he studied the sobering yet intellectually stimulating subjects of English and Philosophy. It was around this period, however, that Scott caught the acting bug, and with that, he immediately left college to pursue his newfound dream. Scott eventually settled in London, the European acting capital, where he began studying the craft at the world-famous Drama Centre. In 2007 he nabbed his first film role in "Creatures of Knowledge" (2007), and followed that up with a part in 2009's "The Rise of the Bricks." Scott continued nabbing parts in the 2010s in movies like "Good Vibrations" (2012), "The Rafters" (2012) and "Black Ice" (2014). In 2014 he co-starred alongside Brendan Gleeson and Chris O'Dowd in the critically-acclaimed drama "Calvary," thus adding further prestige to his already-growing acting profile. In addition to his film roles, Scott was also appearing as a cast member on the Irish TV show "Love/Hate" (RTE, 2010-14), as well as on the BBC period drama "Ripper Street" (BBC, 2012-16). His big break, however, came in 2017 when he joined the cast of the USA Network series "Damnation." That series, which was set in the 1930s, premiered on the USA network in November of 2017.
