Khary Payton
Though Khary Payton may not get much face recognition, he probably makes a lot of people wonder where they've heard that voice before. His live acting credits in television are relegated to bit parts like "Officer" in an episode of "Criminal Minds," one of ABC's police procedural dramas. His live acting movie credits are even more limited, with Payton playing minor roles in straight-to-video releases like "Hellraiser: Hellworld," the 2005 offering from the decreasingly popular franchise which has the series' main villain, Pinhead, wreaking havoc in cyberspace. When it comes to voice work, however, Payton is downright prolific. He's nabbed prominent roles in major video game titles like Drebin in the fourth installment of the legendary "Metal Gear Solid" series, "Guns of the Patriots." He is probably most recognizable for his voice work in animation, specifically that of Cyborg, one of the five members of the eponymous superhero team in "Teen Titans." He voiced the character both in the animated series, which originated on Cartoon Network, and in the massively multiplayer online role-playing game.
