Kevin Fonteyne
Known to many fans for his role as the legendary musician Johnny Cash on the TV series "Sun Records" (CMT, 2017-), Kevin Fonteyne was born in San Antonio, Texas. After moving with his mother and five younger siblings to Manchester, New Hampshire following his parents' divorce, Fonteyne discovered his love of acting when he was cast in a mandatory school play. Though his role was only in the ensemble, Fonteyne enjoyed rehearsals so much that he eventually memorized the lines for the lead role as well. When the student playing the lead never showed up on opening night, Fonteyne filled in and quickly fell in love with acting. He embarked on a professional career after high school, booking his first onscreen role in 2009 with a guest appearance on the show "iCarly" (Nickelodeon, 2007-2012). He would go on to make appearances on shows like "Criminal Minds" (CBS, 2005-) and "NCIS" (CBS, 2003-) before landing a recurring role of Marco on the final season of the comedy series "Melissa & Joey" (ABC Family, 2010-15). This soon led to a three-episode arc on the acclaimed series "Masters of Sex" (Showtime, 2013-) before he was cast as the beloved singer Johnny Cash on CMT's "Sun Records."
