Kenneth Connor
Kenneth Connor brought smiles and laughter to countless audiences over the course of his film career. Connor's early acting career consisted of roles in big screen comedies like "The Ladykillers" (1956) with Alec Guinness, the William Hartnell film "Carry on Sergeant" (1959) and the Kenneth Connor film "Carry On Nurse" (1960). He also appeared in "Carry on Constable" (1961) with Sidney James and Eric Barker, "Carry on Teacher" (1962) and "Carry on Regardless" (1963). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the comedy "Carry on Cleo" (1965) with Sidney James, "Carry on Cabby" (1967) and the Robert Ryan adventure "Captain Nemo and the Underwater City" (1970). He also appeared in "Carry on Up the Jungle" (1970), the comedy "Carry on Behind" (1975) with Elke Sommer and "Carry on England" (1976). Additionally, he appeared on the television special "Sir Norbert Smith: A Life" (PBS, 1990-91). He held additional roles in television including a part on "Carry on Laughing" (1980-81). Most recently, Connor acted in the adventure "Carry On Dick" (2012) with Sidney James.
