Kelly Cherelle Price began her singing career in 1992, performing backing vocals for Mariah Carey. She, at first, collaborated with celebrities of the caliber of Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Faith Evans and the Notorious B.I.G. In 1998, she launched her solo career with her album "Soul of a Woman". In 1999, she won Best R&B/Soul or Rap New Artist in the Soul Train Music Awards. Her second and fourth albums, "Mirror Mirror" (2000) and "Priceless" (2003) reached the top 10 in the Billboard 200. Price has been nominated for nine grammys. In 2005, she launched her first gospel album "This Is Who I Am", which debuted at first place on the Billboard Gospel Charts and reached Number 9 on the R&B album chart. In 2009, she joined Deborah Cox and Tamia in The Queen Project, which empowered women of different backgrounds by doing community service projects. Her last studio album, "Grace", was released in 2021.
