KeKe Wyatt

American R&B singer and television personality Keke Wyatt was born Ketara Shavon Wyatt in Indianapolis, Indiana. With her mother being a vocalist and her father, a church organist, Wyatt developed her singing talents at a young age, performing in church choirs. She gained early attention in the late 1990s through collaborations with various artists, most notably her duet with Avant on the hit cover of "My First Love" when she was only 15 years old. Wyatt released her debut album, "Soul Sista," in 2001, which sold over a million copies. Following her debut, struggles with changing record labels prevented the release of a second album for several years. In 2009, she played a leading role in "Love Overboard", a play by Je'Caryous Johnson. Capitalizing on her successful theatrical debut, Wyatt quickly followed it with two studio albums: "Who Knew?" (2010) and "Unbelievable!" (2011). Starting in 2012 she was featured in the reality series "R&B Divas: Atlanta" (TV One, 2012-14) for all three seasons. Wyatt and her husband Michael Ford joined the sixth season of "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars" (WEtv, 2013-). Her popularity as a reality star led to her own show, "Keke Wyatt's World" (WEtv, 2023-), which documents her life in the music industry and as a mother raising her 11 children.
