Keith Addis
In 1989, personal manager Keith Addis merged his firm with that of his best friend, Nick Wechsler. The company eventually evolved into Industry Entertainment and was one of the first small boutique firms to get into film production on behalf of its clients. Writer-director John Herzfeld, for example, was packaged into the 2001 action film "15 Minutes," starring Robert De Niro and Ed Burns. Addis himself had an auspicious beginning in the film business, working as an assistant to Martin Scorsese on the set of '76's "Taxi Driver." Addis' earliest production was a remake of the French New Wave classic "Breathless" in '83, with Richard Gere starring in the Jean-Paul Belmondo role. Among Addis' other clients are Kelsey Grammer, Ted Danson, Richard Dreyfuss, and Jeff Goldblum. In the mid-2000s, Addis worked with a number of high-profile directors, including Mark Rydell, Joe Dante, and John Carpenter for the syndicated anthology series "Masters of Horror" and "Masters of Science-Fiction."
