A hurricane is brewing and it's not just outside after Dorothy gets a visit first from Stan with news that he's over her and moving on with his life. Dorothy quickly discovers who he's moving on with, her sister, Gloria. Meanwhile, Blanche and Rose hold a telethon to save a lighthouse.

A lovely young female farmer comes to Oliver for his professional help. He's glad to oblige especially when he learns that she can cook. Lisa first becomes jealous of the time the two spend together. Then she becomes convinced they're having an affair especially after overhearing Mrs. Ziffel describing the plot on her favorite soap opera.

The farmers of Hooterville sign up for a government-sponsored agriculture exchange program to Europe. When they realize the $300 cost for tickets is per person not per plane-load they decide to supply their own airplane with Oliver as their pilot.

The family gathers for a tag-team wrestling match after Granny defeats the Boston Strong Girl.
