Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt

Katherine Schwarzenegger was an American author born in Los Angeles, California. The eldest daughter of actor Arnold Schwarzenegger and journalist Maria Shriver, Katherine had three siblings from the relationship and a half-brother whose relation to Arnold was revealed in 2011. Arnold Schwarzenegger's affair with the family's housekeeper in 1997 led to his divorce with Shriver in 2011 when she discovered the relationship. Katherine Schwarzenegger was also a member of the Kennedy family by way of her mother, the daughter of Eunice Kennedy Shriver (the sister of President John F. Kennedy) and diplomat and politician Sargent Shriver. Therefore, John F. Kennedy is her granduncle, as are his politician brothers Robert and Ted. Schwarzenegger wrote her first book, "Rock What You've Got: Secrets to Loving Your Inner and Outer Beauty from Someone Who's Been There and Back," in 2010. In it, she details her experiences with body image issues and how to build self-confidence. Schwarzenegger graduated from the University of Southern California in 2012, and her uncertainty of what to do next informed her next book, "I Just Graduated Now What?" Released in 2014, the book was touted as a "survival guide" for college graduates. Schwarzenegger's third book was inspired by her work in animal activism; she was an ASPCA Ambassador. "Maverick and Me," published in 2017, was a children's book about how she rescued her dog, the titular Maverick. Schwarzenegger began a relationship with actor Chris Pratt in July 2018.
