Kate Barry
Most recently for POV, Barry executive produced the Apple TV+ limited series Manhunt. She was previously a Creative Executive at the streamer, where she frequently collaborated with Eskridge. In addition to her development duties there, Barry oversaw Apple TV+’s IP strategy, helping to acquire bestsellers such as Defending Jacob and Lessons in Chemistry. Prior to that, Barry was part of the Literary Acquisitions team at Amazon Studios that was behind securing the rights to The Lord of the Rings and Wheel of Time series. As an executive at Scott Rudin Productions, Barry worked on Ladybird, Fences, and Annihilation, as well as Rudin’s theater productions of The Crucible, The Humans, and The Music Man. She began her career in publishing at WME, working with such authors as Jhumpa Lahiri, Jonathan Lethem, and Stephen Chbosky.
