Karen Sheperd
Karen Sheperd was a well-renowned actress with a series of roles in action movies under her belt. Sheperd began her acting career in action flicks like "Sword of Heaven" (1985) with Mel Novak and Gerry Gibson, "Mission of Justice" (1992) with Jeff Wincott and Brigitte Nielsen and "Cyborg II: Glass Shadows" (1993) starring Elias Koteas. She worked in series television while getting her start in acting, including a part on "Diagnosis Murder" (CBS, 1993-2001). She kept working in film throughout the nineties, starring in "Terminator Woman" (1993), the action picture "Operation Golden Phoenix" (1994) with Jalal Merhi and the action movie "Soul of the Avenger" (1995) with Mark Pellegrino. She also appeared in the crime drama "Another Day in Paradise" (1998) with James Woods. She also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" (1994-2000). Sheperd had a number of different projects under her belt in the nineties and the early 2000s, including "Boogie Boy" (1998) starring Mark Dacascos, "Mystery Men" (1999) starring Hank Azaria and "Strong Medicine" (Lifetime, 1999-2005). Her credits also expanded to "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" (2001) starring Jason Mewes. Most recently, Sheperd acted on "Criminal Minds" (CBS, 2005-).
