Justine Skye
Singer and actress Justine Skye was born Justine Indira Skyers in Brooklyn, New York to Jamaican parents. Skye began her career in music by building a fan base on Tumblr. Her 2012 cover of Drake's "Headlines" on YouTube garnered millions of views. Her self-made music and online persona drew the attention of Atlantic Records leading to a deal and her debut EP "Everyday Living" (2013). Gaining momentum, Skye released the "Emotionally Unavailable" extended play in 2015 along with the single "Collide" featuring Tyga. After making appearances in reality television and performing at a Tommy Hilfiger show, she dropped her debut studio album, "Ultraviolet" (2018) which reached #16 on the Billboard R&B Album Sales chart. Not restricting herself to music, Skye began acting with roles in "Already Gone" (2019) and "Tales" (BET, 2017-). She released another studio album "Space & Time" in 2021. In 2022, Justine Skye joined the cast of "Grown-ish" (Freeform, 2019-) for its fifth season.
