Julian Beck

Julian Beck was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Beck worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "The Brig" with Warren Finnerty (1964) and "Oedipus Rex" with Franco Citti (1969). Beck then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in the crime feature "The Cotton Club" (1984) with Richard Gere and the drama "9 1/2 Weeks" (1986) with Mickey Rourke. Beck was most recently credited in "Poltergeist II: the Other Side" (1986). Beck was married to Judith Melina. Beck passed away in September 1985 at the age of 60.
