Julia Maxwell

With roles in both Canadian and American productions, actress Julia Maxwell has graduated from small parts to title characters in film and television. She started working as a professional actress with her first appearance in a television series in 1998 and made her motion picture debut in the 2007 family film "Moondance Alexander" as Rachel. With positive reviews, she was able to progress to larger roles such as Miranda Shemwell, the daughter of Jim and Suzanne Shemwell, a couple trapped in a blizzard during the holidays, in the 2007 made-for-television movie "Lost Holiday: The Jim & Suzanne Shemwell Story," airing on Lifetime TV. In 2010, she returned to film with the role of Lucy in the comedy "Hot Tub Time Machine." As her material matured, Maxwell took a darker role on the hit sci-fi series "Supernatural" in 2011 as the demonic Eve, who is being hunted by the series' two brothers, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles). Maxwell had her largest role to date as one of the leads, Colleen Calloway, in the 2011 Canadian murder mystery "The Odds." The film revolves around the death of a teenager amidst illegal high school gambling and premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival to mixed reviews.
