Joseph Ashton
A talented youngster, the dark-haired Joseph Ashton first appeared before the camera as an infant in a McDonald's commercial. After appearing on stage as a Munchkin in "The Wizard of Oz," he went on to numerous other commercials and guest appearances on such TV series as "Smart Guy," "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" and "Cracker." In 1996, Ashton made his feature film debut in the ensemble of "The Little Rascals." The following year, he called upon his own Native American heritage to play the titular Indian youth in "The Education of Little Tree." The youngster proved a revelation in the role, fully capturing the character's rites-of-passage. Ashton went on to appear in the children's comedy "Slappy and the Stinkers" (1998) before landing the recurring role of the son of a divorced physician in the CBS drama "L.A. Doctors" (1998-99)
