Just as crisis manager Jim Dunnigan is preparing to step down from his position as interim athletic director, Chancellor Dick Devereaux has a sudden heart attack. With Dick in the hospital, Jim finds himself embroiled in more Glory drama; two of the school's star basketball players are suddenly drafted into the European basketball pro league. It's not long before Jim finds out that his arch nemesis Roger Seething is the sports agent behind the draft picks -- the man Jim put behind bars seven years earlier.

SUIT UP · S2, E8Time Bomb
Glory has made it to the championship NIT game, but Roger is going to expose Jim's illegal tutoring to the NCAA board. However, it turns out that Jim has started a flagship program for tutoring high school students, an entirely legal operation. Jim then puts Roger back in prison with the revelation of his off-shore money laundering. Glory goes on to win the NIT championship and Jim becomes the official AD. All seems well until Roger's final bomb explodes and the NCAA is back on Jim's case.

Just as Roger is about to break ground on his new Louisiana Vengeance stadium, the Environmental Protection Agency stops him cold -- the stadium could endanger a bird sanctuary. The board tries to suspend Jim's contract and he promises them that if they do not win the NIT he will resign quietly. However, if they do win, he bargains to become the permanent AD. Roger finds out about the Alyssa Lido tutor and gives Jim a lose-lose ultimatum. Luther finally comes through at the last minute, providing Jim with a top-secret weapon against Roger.

Coach Jan accepts the position as the Glory men's coach and attempts to get the depleted team in shape for the NCAA tournament. Unfortunately for Jim, the team fails to make the tournament. In the wake of this loss, the board of directors decide to fire Jim. Meanwhile, in the Vengeance boardroom, Luther comes up with a dirty plan to get around the zoning laws so they can build their new stadium however they please.
