Jonathan `Lil J' McDaniel
Lil' J got his start in the world of acting at the ripe age of 16. Lil' J started his entertainment career with his music in films like the Vin Diesel box office smash action movie "The Fast and the Furious" (2001) and the Julie Andrews box office smash comedic adventure "The Princess Diaries" (2001). In addition to his music, Lil' J appeared in "That's So Raven" (Disney, 2002-06). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board" (Disney, 2006-07). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Entourage" (HBO, 2003-2011). During these years, he also worked in film, earning a part in the Jenifer Lewis comedic drama "Nora's Hair Salon" (2004). Lil' J also created music for "Pixel Perfect" (Disney, 2003-04). More recently, he tackled roles on "Cougar Town" (2009-2015) and "Hit the Floor" (VH1, 2012-). Lil' J took on film roles in more recent years, appearing in the dramedy "Burning Palms" (2011) with Jamie Chung and the drama "In The Hive" (2012) with Michael Clarke Duncan. Most recently, Lil' J appeared in "VH1 Big in 2015 with Entertainment Weekly" (VH1, 2015-).
