Johnny Brown
Johnny Brown was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Brown started his acting career landing roles in films, such as the drama "A Man Called Adam" (1966) with Sammy Davis Jr., "The Out-of-Towners" (1970) with Jack Lemmon and the Diana Ross musical "The Wiz" (1978). He had an early role on the television special "The Bill Cosby Special, Or?" (NBC, 1970-71). Brown worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "The Mouse Factory" (1972-73). In the seventies and the eighties, Brown devoted his time to various credits, such as "The Plastic Man Comedy/Adventure Show" (ABC, 1979-1981), "Body and Soul" (1982) starring Leon Isaac Kennedy and "Hanky Panky" (1982). He also worked on "Chipmunks" (NBC, 1983-1993). In his more recent career, he tackled roles on "The Wayans Bros." (1994-96), "The Jamie Foxx Show" (WB, 1995-2001) and "The Wayans Bros" (1996-99). Most recently, Brown acted in "I'm Through with White Girls" (2007). Johnny Brown died on March 2, 2022 at the age of 84.
