John Reilly
John Reilly was an actor most commonly known for his memorable roles in television. Reilly's early acting career was founded on his roles in various dramas, such as "As the World Turns" (CBS, 1955-2010) and "General Hospital" (ABC, 1962-2014). A few of his roles at the time were also in movies like the Robert Redford dramatic adventure "The Great Waldo Pepper" (1975) and the Barbra Streisand sports comedy "The Main Event" (1979). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Secret War of Jackie's Girls" (NBC, 1980-81). He next focused his entertainment career on film, appearing in the Chevy Chase comedy "Deal of the Century" (1983) and the Michael Keaton dramatic sports film "Touch and Go" (1986). He shifted from film to television work through the nineties, appearing on "Diagnosis Murder" (1993-2001), "Maybe This Time" (ABC, 1995-96) and "Sunset Beach" (NBC, 1996-2000). Reilly's distinctive voice can be heard on "Iron Man" (1994-96). Most recently, Reilly appeared in "Book of Days (PAX)" (ION Television Network, 2002-03). John Reilly died on January 9, 2021 at the age of 84.
