John Posey

Actor John Posey was most commonly known for his roles in television dramas. Posey started his acting career landing roles in films, such as the William Petersen crime thriller "Manhunter" (1986), the comedic adventure "Out on A Limb" (1992) with Matthew Broderick and the action picture "Robocop 3" (1993) with Robert John Burke. He additionally landed roles in the TV movies "In Love and War" (NBC, 1986-87) and "Perry Mason: The Case of the Defiant Daughter" (NBC, 1990-91). Posey worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "Cheers" (NBC, 1982-1993). Several more television roles followed in the nineties and the early 2000s, including stints on "The Marshal" (1994-96), "John Grisham's The Client" (CBS, 1995-96) and "Doc" (ION Television Network, 2000-05). More recently, he earned a role in the comedy "California Myth" (1999) with Tyrone Power Jr. More recently, he tackled roles on "NCIS" (2003-), "Criminal Minds" (CBS, 2005-) and "Bones" (Fox, 2005-). He also appeared in "NCIS: Los Angeles" (CBS, 2009-). Most recently, Posey acted on "Scorpion" (CBS, 2014-).
