John Hussey

John Hussey was an actor who founded his entertainment career success with roles in film. Hussey kickstarted his acting career in various films such as "The Persecution and Assassination of Jean-Paul Marat As Performed By the Inmates of the Asylum of Charenton Under the Direction of the Marquis de Sade" (1967) with Ian Richardson, the Mark Jones dramatic adaptation "Tell Me Lies" (1968) and the Nicol Williamson dramatic adaptation "The Reckoning" (1969). He also appeared in the Ralph Richardson comedy adaptation "Oh! What A Lovely War" (1969), the dramatic adaptation "The Sterile Cuckoo" (1969) with Liza Minnelli and the Roger Moore drama "Gold" (1974). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the action flick "Rage to Kill" (1988) with James Ryan. He also appeared in the TV special "Travelling Man" (CBS, 1987-88). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Pancho Barnes" (CBS, 1988-89). Hussey also created music for "Permanent Record" (1988). Recently, he tackled roles in the Kevin Costner action picture "A Perfect World" (1993), "Michael" (1996) with John Travolta and "Arlington Road" (1999) with Jeff Bridges. He also had a part in the TV miniseries "Murder in the Heartland" (1992-93). Most recently, Hussey acted in the drama "Beautiful Country" (2005) with Nick Nolte.
