John Hollis
John Hollis has built an incredible presence on the big screen throughout his acting career. Hollis worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Charlie's Angels" (ABC, 1976-1981), "Superman" with Christopher Reeve (1978) and "The Adventures of Don Quixote" (CBS, 1972-73). He also contributed to "The Boy in the Plastic Bubble" (ABC, 1976-77). He next focused his entertainment career on film, appearing in the sci-fi fantasy "Flash Gordon" (1980) with Sam J. Jones, the Mark Hamill blockbuster adventure sequel "The Empire Strikes Back" (1980) and "Superman II" (1981) with Gene Hackman. Hollis also appeared in the Christopher Reeve action picture "Superman IV: the Quest for Peace" (1987). Additionally, he appeared on the television special "The Great Kandinsky" (PBS, 1995-96). He also lent his distinctive voice to the Stephen Thorne animated motion picture "Valhalla" (1986). Hollis most recently appeared in "Esther" (ION Television Network, 2000-01).
