John Carson

Actor John Carson appeared in a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Carson started his acting career landing roles in such films as "Quentin Durward" (1955) with Robert Taylor, "Guns of Darkness" (1962) and the sci-fi flick "Blood Beast From Outer Space" (1966) with John Saxon. He also appeared in the Roger Moore thriller "The Man Who Haunted Himself" (1970), the Christopher Lee horror film "Taste the Blood of Dracula" (1970) and "Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter" (1972). He kept working in film throughout the eighties and the nineties, starring in "An African Dream" (1989), the action flick "The Last Warrior" (1989) with Gary Graham and the biographical drama "Schweitzer" (1990) with Malcolm McDowell. He also appeared in "Au Pair" (1991) with Nicholas Guest. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the adventurous drama "I Dreamed of Africa" (2000) with Kim Basinger, the comedic adaptation "The Deal" (2008) with William H. Macy and the Rhona Mitra thriller "Doomsday" (2008). He also was featured in the TV movie "Mandela and de Klerk" (Showtime, 1996-97). Carson most recently worked on "Insane Coaster Wars" (Travel Channel, 2011-14).
