Joe Rogan
Raised in the Boston area, comic and actor Joe Rogan had achieved a degree of fame in Massachusetts as a four-time tae kwon do state champion before he pursued a show business career. The good-looking, dark-haired performer began making the rounds around the USA in comedy clubs and was soon appearing on various TV shows like "Standup Spotlight" and "Caroline's Comedy Hour." Rogan caught the attention of casting directors and landed his first regular berth on a series. In the short-lived Fox sitcom "Hardball" (1994), he portrayed a tactless, highly-paid, young baseball player. Not long after, Rogan found success as the deal-making studio maintenance man on NBC's "NewsRadio" (1995-99).
