Flipper disappears for several days and, when found by Porter Ricks, Sandy and Bud are with another dolphin, an amazing albino, the only white dolphin in Porter's memory.
A scientist from the National Institute of Oceanography, Dr. Murdock, visits the Rick's home to borrow Flipper for training dolphins which he plans to use in an experiment.
