Joanne Kelly

Actress Joanne Kelly has come a long way from her small hometown of Bay d'Espoir, Newfoundland, Canada. In a short time, she has gone from having a few minor credits to having a role in a hit television series. Her earliest roles were on Canadian television programs, like the youth-oriented sci-fi show "Mentors," where she first appeared playing Mata Hari, in 2002. She was already starring in her first film that same year, a Canadian adaptation of a David Adams Richards novel, "The Bay of Love and Sorrows," where she played Madonna Brassaurd, a friend of the main character. By 2003, she had her first recurring television role, playing lab assistant, Liberty '"Libby" Kaufman, in eight episodes of the post-apocalyptic drama "Jeremiah" on the Showtime network. In 2009, she signed on to play the part of Secret Service agent Myka Bering in a starring role on the fantasy-drama program "Warehouse 13," which proved to be an instant surprise hit when it aired on the ScyFy network, adding even more momentum to Kelly's rapidly rising star.
