Joan MacIntosh
Joan MacIntosh was a big screen film actress known for powerful performances. MacIntosh began her acting career appearing in various films, such as the William Finley dramatic adaptation "Dionysus in 69" (1970), "A Flash of Green" (1985) and the Mark Arnott comedy "Chain Letters" (1985). She also appeared in "Fresh Horses" (1988). She also appeared in the TV special "Our Town" (PBS, 1989-1990). She also was featured in the TV movie "The Confession" (Cinemax, 1998-99). She held additional roles in television including a part on "The West Wing" (NBC, 1999-2006). Most recently, MacIntosh appeared on "School: The Story of American Public Education" (PBS, 2001-02).
