With the embers of Majestic and Agrestic smoldering in their rearview mirror, Nancy and family flee southbound to the border town of Ren Mar, California. Meanwhile, the DEA interrogates Doug, Dean and Isabelle, who all pin the entire grow operation on Ceila. Back in Ren Mar, Andy confronts his father and new landlord Lenny.

Nancy makes her first successful smuggling run across the border with both drugs and human cargo. Meanwhile, Captain Till strikes a deal with Celia to get her out of jail. In return, she must gather evidence to incriminate Nancy and Guillermo. Back in Ren Mar, Andy tries to convince the family, including his father, to put Bubbie out of her misery.

John is forced to think about what life will hold for him once he leaves the LAPD. Lydia connects with a man she sent to death row earlier in her career. Much to his chagrin, Sammy becomes a tabloid celebrity for the day after a very public act of heroism. Ben makes a dubious decision to get a drug dealer arrested. And a foot pursuit puts Dewey in danger.

Nina realizes she may need help influencing jurors; Phil and Trent face off in front of a grumpy judge.
