Jimmie Dodd
Jimmie Dodd was an actor with a strong presence in film throughout his Hollywood career. Dodd began his career with roles in "Snuffy Smith, Yard Bird" (1942) and the comedy "You Gotta Stay Happy" (1949) with Joan Fontaine. Later, he acted in the Dan Duryea biopic "Al Jennings of Oklahoma" (1951) and the Judy Holliday comedy "Phffft!" (1954). Later in his career, Dodd worked on "The Mickey Mouse Club" (ABC, 1955-59). Dodd passed away in November 1964 at the age of 54.
