Meanwhile, Brick attempts to teach Sue how to become an on-air reporter when she decides to try out as an anchor for the school's Shucker News Team, and Mike has a mutiny on his hands at the quarry when he's forced to make cutbacks and takes away the one thing his workers care about -- free pretzels.

J.D. (Zach Braff) strikes up a romantic relationship with an attractive social worker (guest star Elizabeth Bogush, "Beverly Hills, 90210") but he soon learns that Elliot (Sarah Chalke) is not only jealous but thinks his new squeeze is bad news. Meanwhile, Turk (Donald Faison) discovers that Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley) also has romantic designs on Carla (Judy Reyes) while Carla encounters hard stares from her fellow nurses when she strikes up a car-pool friendship with the hated Dr. Kelso (Ken Jenkins).

Amy Sedaris ("Strangers with Candy") guest stars as Fritz's sister, Claire, who claims to be psychic and tags along on an investigation of a possible homicide.

Following the "coming out" confessions made by everyone in the O’Neal family, Eileen is desperate to control the situation and tries to make Kenny "un-gay." Meanwhile, Kenny tries to find the right time to break up with his girlfriend and has a heart-to-heart with late-night host Jimmy Kimmel.

Michael is reluctant to attend his high-school reunion until a former rival challenges him to a dance-off.
