Jessica James

Actress Jessica James was known for her roles on the silver screen. James kickstarted her acting career in comedies like "So Fine" (1981) with Ryan O'Neal and Jack Warden and "Diner" (1982) with Steve Guttenberg. She also starred in the TV movies "Daddy, I Don't Like It Like This" (CBS, 1977-78) and "Nurse" (CBS, 1979-1980). She continued to act in productions like "I, the Jury" (1982), the Saul Rubinek comedy "Soup For One" (1982) and the Rodney Dangerfield comedy "Easy Money" (1983). She also appeared in "Spring Break" (1983) and "Power" (1986) with Richard Gere. Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Running Out" (CBS, 1982-83). In the latter half of her career, she tackled roles in the action film "Alien Nation" (1988) with James Caan, the comedy "Illegally Yours" (1988) with Rob Lowe and "Immediate Family" (1989). She also worked in television during these years, including roles in "Murphy Brown" (CBS, 1988-1998) and "Major Dad" (CBS, 1989-1993). James more recently appeared in "Starting Now" (CBS, 1989-1990). James passed away in May 1990 at the age of 60.
