Jerry Doyle
Actor Jerry Doyle has been featured on a number of investigative shows, but is famous to sci-fi fans for his role as Michael Garibaldi on the television series "Babylon 5." Formerly an airplane pilot and a stockbroker, Doyle shifted careers in the early 1990s and began acting. After appearing in two episodes of the TV drama "Homefront," Doyle joined the cast of Babylon 5 as the down-to-earth security head Garibaldi for the '93 pilot movie "Babylon 5: The Gathering" and was featured on the regular series, which ran from '94 to '98, as well as the later film "Babylon 5: A Call to Arms." Following this stint, Doyle made guest spots on a number of popular TV shows, including "JAG" and "NYPD Blue," and appeared in the feature films "The Long Ride Home" and "Lost Treasure." In 2000, Doyle unsuccessfully ran for Congress and subsequently became a conservative radio personality, even hosting his own show.
